IB Fall, Winter and Spring Workshops
These workshops are designed for new and experienced IB teachers who are interested in learning about the IB program and strategies and techniques for effectively teaching IB courses.
IB Orientation Seminar This is an introduction to the IB organization and the continuum of learning that occurs in the three different programme levels.
GSCS offers workshops for teachers in schools implementing the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The workshops at Rice are designed for new and experienced PYP, MYP and DP IB teachers who are interested in learning more about the IB program and/or strategies and techniques for effectively teaching IB courses. Workshops are led by experienced IB workshop leaders who have a strong background in teaching and an interest in developing the IB teacher community through rigorous professional development.
Since 1994, GSCS has provided exemplary workshops and resources for teachers. Rice's teacher professional development workshops have provided teachers with content knowledge and effective teaching strategies to address the learning needs of students.
