Spring IB Workshops
International Baccalaureate PYP, MYP and DP Level Workshops
March 15-17, 2018
IMPORTANT: Please do not book travel until both enrollment and receipt of payment are confirmed. Registrations made via purchase order are not considered confirmed until CCR receives the actual check.
When: Thursday-Saturday, March 15-17, 2018 Classes on the first two days will be held from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Classes on the last day will be held from 9 a.m.-noon. Houston is in the Central time zone.
Where: The workshops meet on the Rice University campus in Houston, Texas.
Please Note: Prior to registering, please read an explanation of each workshop category. Please refer to the list of courses to read an explanation of each workshop level and to view course options and descriptions. Additionally, certain information provided during registration will be sent to the IB Organization.
TEA Reimbursement: Texas IB teachers are eligible for tuition reimbursement by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Teachers must attend the entire workshop in order to earn a certificate and be eligible for TEA reimbursement. TEA has asked that you please join the TEA AP/IB incentive listserv to be notified once guidelines have been determined.
Continuing Education Credits: Participants will receive up to 15 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits or 1.5 Continuing Education Units (CEU). Attendance is taken each morning and afternoon. The hours on your certificate will reflect your actual hours of attendance. Participants are responsible for signing the attendance sheet each day.

Early registration: $830 (until December 15)
Standard registration: $880 (December 16-February 28)
Late registration: $930 (after February 28)
Tuition includes breakfast every day, lunch on the first and second day, and a participant reception.
Payments: Payments are accepted by credit card or purchase order. Registrations via credit card are confirmed immediately upon processing. Registrations made via PO are not considered confirmed until CCR receives the actual payment (check). If registering using a PO, payment (check) is due within 30 days of registration. Failure to submit timely payment may result in the cancellation of your registration.

Category 2 participants are required to bring their own subject guide to the workshops. A subject guide will be provided in hard copy for Category 1 participants. In combined Category 1/2 workshops, subject guides will be provided to all participants. Coordinators, please bring a copy of the "Handbook of Procedures." A few copies will be available to those that are unable to get one before the start of the workshops. These materials may be brought either as electronic files downloaded to laptops or as hard copies.
