Rice University is offering a one-day orientation seminar designed for anyone investigating the feasibility of implementing the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme. The seminar will provide an introduction to the IB organization and the continuum of learning that occurs in the three different programme levels. It will also allow participants to engage in small group discussions with those who have gained practical experience in IB. Participants will hear directly from representatives of IB Americas (IBA) about procedures and regional differences, and how IB earned its reputation for high standards of academic achievement and pedagogical leadership.
This orientation seminar does not cover the IB application process.
