Fall 2012 Housing Information
A block of rooms has been reserved for participants at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Houston (Medical Center). Please contact the hotel directly for reservations and reserve your room as soon as possible, as the special Workshop rate cannot be guaranteed after the reserved block of rooms has been filled.
Please arrive in Houston the day before your session begins and schedule your hotel reservations accordingly. Registration opens at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, and the program ends at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 7. If you choose to return home on Sunday evening, we suggest you select a flight leaving no earlier than 7:00 p.m. Please note that hours will be deducted from your certificate if you leave before the program ends. The Holiday Inn has extended its group rate through Monday, October 8, for those who plan to check out on Monday morning.
We have contracted a shuttle to provide round-trip transportation service from the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites (Medical Center) to the Rice campus each morning and evening of the conference. If you are registered at other hotels, please check with their concierge about transportation to Rice. While they may be close enough to Rice, we will not be able to service all hotels in the area.
