    AP Summer Institute - The Rice AP and Pre-AP Summer Institutes are 30-hour, subject-specific, professional development opportunities for new and experienced AP and Pre-AP teachers.

    Academies: Advanced Topics in AP - The Academies, a 30-hour institute, provide experienced AP teachers the opportunity to delve deeply into specific course content with higher education faculty and to connect to their discipline’s current work.

    Fall AP Seminar - This six-hour, Advanced Placement Seminar provides a forum for the exploration and discussion of course content, best practices and instructional strategies. The Fall Seminar offers courses both online and at the Rice campus.

    Spring AP Exam Prep Workshop - This one-day workshop is designed for teachers interested in acquiring strategies for preparing their students for the AP exam.

    AP and Pre-AP Online Mentoring - In conjunction with our customized district professional development, we offer Web-delivered programs designed to assist AP and Pre-AP teachers in mastering their content and vertical alignment. The web-based programs provide teachers with the support, knowledge and networks vital to building strong AP and Pre-AP programs.
